Product Overview
SendOnTime WhatsApp Status Scheduler is a web-based tool that lets you prepare image, video, or text WhatsApp Status updates and schedule them for a specific date and time. You link your WhatsApp account, create and preview the Status in the dashboard, then choose when it should go live. SendOnTime publishes it automatically through your connected WhatsApp account, so your phone, browser, and dashboard do not need to stay open, but the WhatsApp connection must remain active.

Supported content
What You Can Schedule
SendOnTime supports text, image, and video WhatsApp Status updates. Each Status can have its own content, date, time, and repeat setting.
Text Status
Write a text update and choose when it should be published.
Image Status
Upload an image and schedule it for a specific date and time.
Video Status
Upload a video of up to 100 MB and 120 seconds, then choose its publishing time.
You can prepare multiple Status updates in advance and assign a different publishing time to each one. This allows you to build a planned WhatsApp Status schedule instead of uploading each update manually at the last minute.
For image and video updates, SendOnTime handles the upload and publication step through your connected WhatsApp account when the scheduled time arrives.
Flexible recurrence
Schedule Once or Repeat
A WhatsApp Status can be scheduled for one-time publication or set to repeat automatically. You choose the repeat setting before confirming the schedule.
No Repeat
Publish the Status once on the selected date and time.
Daily
Publish the Status according to a daily schedule.
Weekly
Repeat the Status on a weekly schedule.
Monthly
Repeat the Status on a monthly schedule.
Cloud-based publishing
Cloud Scheduling
Once a WhatsApp Status is confirmed, SendOnTime keeps the schedule in the cloud. Your phone, browser, and SendOnTime dashboard do not need to remain open when the publishing time arrives.
The Status is still published through the WhatsApp account you connected. That WhatsApp session must remain valid at publishing time.
If the connected session expires or becomes disconnected, the Status may fail instead of being published. Failed items are shown separately in your dashboard so they are not confused with successfully published Status updates.
Browser access
Supported Devices
SendOnTime works in a browser on iPhone, Android, laptop, and desktop. You do not need to install a separate mobile app or browser extension.
Android
Open SendOnTime in your mobile browser, create the Status, and choose its publishing time.
iPhone
Schedule WhatsApp Status updates through your browser without installing a dedicated scheduler app.
Desktop
Use the dashboard on a larger screen to prepare, preview, and organize multiple Status updates.
Dashboard visibility
Manage Your Schedule
The SendOnTime dashboard separates Status updates by their current scheduling and publishing state. This helps you see what is planned, what is waiting today, what was published, and what failed.
Scheduled
Status updates confirmed for a future date and time.
Today’s Queue
Status updates waiting to be published today.
Published
Status updates for which the publication step was completed.
Failed
Status updates that could not be published successfully.
For a repeating schedule, you can delete the whole campaign or remove only an individual scheduled Status.
Planned publishing
Common Use Cases
A WhatsApp Status scheduler is useful when you already know what you want to publish and when it should appear. You can prepare the content in advance instead of interrupting your work to post it manually.
-
Online sellers
Schedule product updates, new arrivals, order deadlines, or limited-time offers.
-
Local service providers
Publish opening hours, appointment availability, service notices, or temporary schedule changes.
-
Creators and coaches
Prepare content releases, session reminders, launch updates, or planned promotional sequences.
-
Educators
Schedule class notices, enrolment reminders, lesson updates, or resource announcements.
-
Marketing professionals
Coordinate WhatsApp Status updates with campaigns, launches, events, and content calendars.
Multiple Status updates can be prepared during one working session and scheduled for different dates and times. Your browser and phone do not need to remain open between those publishing times.
Before you confirm
Limits and Requirements
Successful Status scheduling depends on the connected WhatsApp session, supported content, and the date and time selected before confirmation.
-
WhatsApp connection: The connected WhatsApp session must remain valid when the Status is due to be published.
-
Phone and browser: Your phone, browser, and SendOnTime dashboard do not need to remain open after confirmation.
-
Images: SendOnTime does not currently apply a separate file-size limit to image Status uploads.
-
Videos: A scheduled Status video can be up to 100 MB and 120 seconds long.
-
Editing: Confirmed Status updates cannot currently be edited or rescheduled. Delete the existing item and create a replacement when a change is required.
-
Publishing status: Published means that the publication step was completed. It does not confirm that every contact viewed the Status.
